Globus Pharyngeus_ Sterling Silver_ 10"X11.5"X9"_ 2018

This work was created as a direct response to a difficult period of transition in my life. The design of this piece follows the path of the physical sensations I would feel when a wave of panic and anxiety would come over me. This chaotic feeling of inner turmoil was, however, contained; thus influencing the interior design and the contrasting border. The name “Globus Pharyngeus” comes from the latin medical term for when you feel a lump in your throat, the most notable sensation I would feel during those times.
